Nomads Serpent Resort

Located approximately two km north of Cairns’ central business district, Nomads Serpent Resort offers hostel-style accommodation, primarily for travellers in their 20s and 30s. On site are a communal kitchen, a large lagoon pool, a bar serving snacks and beverages, a lounge area with cable TV sports coverage, and complimentary parking. There are public phones, vending machines (for snacks and toiletries), and an Internet kiosk with high-speed access. A complimentary shuttle bus operates from 7.30 AM to 5.30 PM and then again from 9.30 PM to 3.30 AM to the city centre and airport (airport-resort one-way transfers are complimentary). Accommodation rates include a complimentary light evening meal. A program of recreational activities – from dart competitions to bar hops and trivia challenges – is also on offer (with at least one activity daily). Adjacent is a small shopping centre with takeaway meals, bakery, café, and grocery store.
